The Maison de Maitre is a 200-year-old winemaker's house that has
been tastefully refurbished, leaving many of the original features in
place.
The house sleeps up to 9 people and is perfect for extended families or
groups of any size. It boasts three king-sized bedrooms (two with
ensuite), one twin bedroom, one small double room and a large bath and
shower room. There is a spacious lounge with DVD player and music
centre, a fully fitted kitchen and a separate dining room.
Outside, the terrace offers spectacular mountain views. The swimming
pool is set in landscaped gardens with sun-loungers. Next to the pool is
the summer kitchen with refrigerator, BBQ and shaded dining area.
La Caumette is a small
hamlet located among the vineyards which cover the rolling hills around
the Pyrennees. The market town of Bedarieux is only 5 minutes away.
In the heart of the Languedoc region, and within easy reach of airports
at Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassonne (1 hour), Nimes and Toulouse (2
hours), La Caumette combines tranquility with the opportunity to
explore the many beautiful towns and cities in the area.
Situated in the Languedoc National Park, there are plenty of outdoor
activities to keep you entertained. There are also many golf courses,
and beaches on the Mediterranean coast can be reached in half an hour.
In addition, the Spanish border is only 90 minutes away.

Beziers 17 km. The cathedral dominates this busy market town,
rising majestically above the river Orb. The lively Feria in August
lasts five days; bull-fighting, paellas, flamenco dancing, and
partying in the streets until the early hours of the morning.
